The Beyond Package: full protection for your car

The Beyond Package is how we protect a whole car at once: LLumar paint protection film on the panels that take impacts, a Gyeon ceramic coating over corrected paint, glass and wheels, and LLumar ceramic tint on the windows. Each product covers a different part of the car, and doing them together means one visit, one plan and one result.
We tailor the package to the car and to how it is driven. Here is what goes into it, why the order matters and how to decide on the pieces.
Why three products
Cars take damage from three directions. Stones, salt and scratches attack the paint. Sun, contaminants and wash marks wear the finish. Heat and UV work on the interior. No single product handles all three.
- Film stops impacts on the paint
- A coating protects the finish and makes it easy to clean
- Tint protects the cabin from sun and heat
Step one: correction
Paint correction comes first, because a coating or film put over defects seals them in. Swirls, haze and light scratches are polished out so the paint is at its best before anything goes on.
We sell correction together with every ceramic coating. How much correction a car needs depends on its paint, and we tell you what we find after we inspect it.
Step two: paint protection film
LLumar self-healing film goes on the areas that take impacts. Common choices are Full Front or Full Front Plus, and Full Body for cars that need every panel covered.
- Basic Front: front bumper, full hood, mirrors, headlights and fog lights
- Full Front: Basic Front plus the full front fenders
- Full Front Plus: Full Front plus the A-pillars, the roof edge over the windshield and the rocker panels
- Full Body: every painted panel
Matte film is available at both shops. It protects the same way as gloss film.
Step three: ceramic coating
A Gyeon coating bonds to the corrected paint and goes over the film too. Water and dirt roll off it, UV and chemicals have a harder time reaching the paint, and the whole car washes more easily. Coatings can also go on glass and wheels, and the Gyeon Certified Detailer team plans which surfaces get one.
Step four: ceramic window tint
LLumar ceramic tint is applied to the glass. We install shades of 70, 50, 35, 20 and 5 percent, so you choose how light or dark the car looks and how it drives at night. Tint keeps the cabin cooler, protects the dashboard and seats from sun damage and adds privacy.
Ceramic film does not use metal, so it does not interfere with phone, GPS or key fob signals the way metallic films can.
What you get from doing it together
Doing the work together has practical advantages. The paint is prepared once, the film and coating are matched to each other and the car is in our bay for a single stretch of time. Care is simpler too, because one conversation at pickup covers the whole car.
It also gives a consistent result. Film on the front end, a coating over every surface and tint on the glass all share the same slick, clean look, so no one area of the car looks protected while another looks bare.
Tailoring the package
No two cars use the package the same way.
A highway commuter
Chips are the main risk, so the plan leans on film. Full Front Plus with a coating over the rest of the paint is a common start.
A car parked outside
Sun and contaminants matter more. A coating on corrected paint and ceramic tint on the glass carry most of the load, with film on the front.
A collector or exotic
Original paint is the point, so Full Body film with a coating over it is often right.
A new car
There is little to correct, so film and coating go on early, and tint follows. We cover this in our page on protecting a new car.
You can build it in stages
You do not need to do everything on the same day. Many owners begin with film on the front end and add a coating and tint later. We can plan the order with you so the work lines up.
How we do the work
Everything is done in house by our full-time staff, in climate-controlled bays at our Millstone and Ocean Township shops. The film carries a manufacturer backed warranty. At pickup we go over care for each product, so you know how to wash the car and what to avoid.
The Beyond Package questions
What is included in The Beyond Package?
Paint protection film, a Gyeon ceramic coating over corrected paint, and LLumar ceramic window tint. We set the exact coverage with you based on the car.
Can I get only some of it?
Yes. Film, coating and tint are each available on their own, and you can add them over time.
How long does it take?
It depends on the film coverage and the other work. Front packages take one to two days, Full Body two to three, and we confirm the timing for your car when we quote it.
Is the package only for new cars?
No. New cars are the easiest, since there is little to correct first. Cars with some age can have the package too, and we plan the correction step around the paint as it is today.
Does the order of the work matter?
Yes. Correction comes first, then film, then the coating over the film and the paint. Tint can go on whenever the schedule suits. We plan the sequence for you.
Does the package cost the same on every car?
No. We quote each job on the car, because the size, the film coverage and the paint condition all change the work involved.
